How does Stanford look for 2024? Always a great program. Oglivie, Rubin, Cawa and Pringle should keep our back court steady. Question mark is how steady our other OH will be on serve receive + offense. Queen Miner is back which means we will be fine with setting duties + having Yu will help. We are still thin in the middle with injury prone Francis + two incoming freshmen who have yet to prove themselves. However, I’m confident L. Andrew will come in and be impactful. Harvey seems to be the lock at OPP, but who takes the second OH spot? Blyashov or Kurt? Should be an interesting battle and I’m sure (or hopeful at least) that Hambly plays with the line up. Who is the other freshman middle coming in besides Andrew? |

Thank you. Looks like Stanford is ready for another great season. The state of volleyball is good when Stanford is in the mix.

I looked back a few pages and saw some Maggie references. Not sure if anything is in the works but she would be great at Stanford.

Yeah, pretty obvious it was going to happen -- all those visits to Texas were for a reason. Stanford is losing the battle to Texas, Wisconsin, and Nebraska for top recruits due to NIL and we can't portal in players when we have holes to fill. |

I would think the Academic restraints would be the biggest obstacle. Texas, while obviously not on Stanford’s level, is a top academic public school. However admissions are different for athletes. Not sure exactly but it seems Stanford is more restrictive. |

Is Demaria a middle now? She’s a pin. It’s great that we got her (or I don’t even know anymore) but she’s not what we needed looking into 2025 and beyond. |

Wow, I thought she was already committed to Stanford. Stanford used to get all the best athletes. I still cannot believe some of these top 10 athletes are willing to ride the bench at Texas and Nebraska.

I think your maybe confused more than im in denial of anything lol. and to my knowledge we've lost a grand total of 1 middle to 1 of the three schools mentioned in the last two recruiting classes |
