I think UCLA is going to factor much more largely in the recruiting process in the future. And obviously Cal is going to get a ton of attention with the year they're having. Stanford might not get those big names by default anymore. I think you are right, the talent is being spread thinner across a pool of five or six Pac-10 teams that consider themselves top tier NCAA Championship contenders. This is another reason why Penn St has been more dominate in the last several years. They are the only BIG dog in a large geographic area.

I really wish Charlotte Brown would take a medical. She has been injured ever since she got to Stanford and is sitting on a scholarship that could be used to bring in some top talent. If surgical rehab for this injury doesn't work, I don't think anyone wants her to try to keep playing... including Charlotte herself. Given how well she felt after her non-surgical rehab was done and how well she played before things went south on her, ending up impaired even off the court must have been awful for her.

I think Madison Bugg will definitely commit to Stanford if she gets in. Per her USAV bio: person she mosts admires "Bryn Kehoe, I want to be just like her".

class of 2011- 3 (klineman, ailes, lichtman) class of 2012- 1 (stephanie browne) class of 2013- 3 (spelman, walker, benj will get one next two years) class of 2014- 4 (williams, wopat, wopat, Charlotte Brown) class of 2015- 1 (morgan boukather)
so take the three availble subtract one... and then add one more after Brown graduates, they have three avalible for the class of 2016 (howard, bugg, sary, burgess)
