... most Do Not know that a Raging case of the flu went through the team before the '17 semifinals versus Florida. Hentz and Fitzmorris were Very Ill! ha ha ha - good one pretty sure everyone heard this at the time not exactly a secret |

It was interesting, during the match-thread, to have seen So Many "rip" Fitz's/Morgan's play. |

It was interesting, during the match-thread, to have seen So many "rip" Fitz's/Morgan's play. Parenthetically - I mentioned this Right After the semi vs. FL ended - I felt that Nebraska's momentum ( plus Amazingly great luck on match point v. PSU) would be hard to beat if SU had beaten UF: what with that influenza spreading throughout the teams in the FF. Other posters mentioned that members of their teams caught it ( After the Final Four; you do Not broadcast that info before a match: other teams would thereby target those players they knew had the flu)! Anyway: '17's defeat became '18's win! |

Just a little update on some 2022ers... I recently watched Sunshine 16-Westside and while Keefe is a solid player for her age, I am not too impressed with her vertical or contact point. Rubin would probably be the better "get" IMO... she's a good 6-rotation OH but it's hard to assess her hitting when some of the 16s teams have some short players. Passing is solid and can put some heat on the ball. Also for 2021 Sam Francis is REALLY good...

So Plummer is not on the vnl roster for this summer, are our speculations of her playing with the nt this summer wrong? Does anyone have factual info of what she is doing this summer? Her not being in the gym this summer decreases her chances immensely of making Tokyo. Is she injured? She’s not playing beach to focus on indoor, but where is she playing indoor cause it doesn’t look like it’s with the nt...

No, I speculated like many posters did because that seemed to be what was likely, but I’ve never known facts or inside info that confirmed she would be. I was not the first to suggest that she would be playing I just jumped on the speculation train |
