I can understand why someone would want to leave Dayton for Gopherland but why would someone want to leave Lexington?
Have either of those two HCs contacted the administration regarding that job opening?
What do those coaches have to offer Minnesota? Why would they be good candidates?

The only reason really to leave UK would be to coach in the Big 10. Kentucky has the resources, he can win the conference, recruit the athletes, etc. Don't know if either has contacted MN. Craig is a winner. He has been part of a national championship and knows what makes a program big time, bot athletically and administratively. Kelly has proven he can create a winning team, and can recruit on a larger scale.

At least in Skin's situation, it doesnt sit well with your AD when you are calling other schools about their head coach positions. They wont be doing any contacting. If they were called, they would listen, unless of course their idiots.

and Jt knows what is stated as paid or given is often no where close to who actually attended the match. I knew Jt knew. Even though he said he didn't.. and my pick is still superior to all of those given. He has won Championships wherever he coached before..and took Louisville to greater highs. I do like UMD pick however. Cheaper and with local recruiting abilities. Its cold here with nothing else going on..

and Jt knows what is stated as paid or given is often no where close to who actually attended the match. True. Usually there's a 200-500 person increase, because anyone in the building who's not on the court (player, coach/staff, ref) is, I believe, considered "attending." But you said: " 400 people in the gym..and players who couldn't serve over the net. You then clarified that you were talking about 400 as the listed attendance because you said: "R ..I can remember Mike's 2nd season 400 would be 200 more than actual Paid." Quite honestly, no, I didn't. If I knew, I would have shot you down earlier. I quite coincidentally ran across my media guide for 1997 out in the garage, in a box of miscellaneous "stuff" that had nothing to do with VB, on a search that had nothing to do w/ VB. And for the last 6 years, took them all the way to the first round of the NCAA tournament. At least the VB banquet will be soon. Then there's the hope of Spring tournament play before the long, lonely Summer of our discontent, made Fall by this new coach of York.

The coincidences are amazing -- so many long-time coaches starting off at Ball State, now ending up in a bald state.

Bill also said something about "hearing a pin drop". Because the 1100 unpaid make no noise at all.
Minnesota VB attendance has always been decent. Before Mike and during.
Bill also said there were no cheerleaders before Mike (another example of how poorly supported the program was). There were. Mike got rid of them.
Minnesota also knocked off Louisville as recently as 2009. First round of the tournament, on a neutral court.
He now likes the UMD pick. Not sure who that is, unless he means Duluth and Jim Boos, who no one has mentioned. I'll assume he means Concordia and Starkey, but that might be a rash assumption.
Facts have never been Bill's forte.
