Busto Arsizio lost in the CEV Cup to Polish team Bielsko Biala. They need to win the next match at home to force a golden set situation, then win that tiebreaker to advance.
Bielsko Biala-Busto Arsizio 3-2 (26-24 25-20 19-25, 15-25, 15-7)
Match stats will be available in a bit. Both club had missing players: Crimes is still injured (knee) and Havlickova did not travel with Busto. Miyashiro played for Bielsko Biala and Lloyd for Busto Arsizio.

They are too tired. Busto played 4 matches just in seven days. The schedule is ridiculous.

It's the price to pay for competing in European cups. ;D Two weeks ago, Heather Bown's team played 3 matches in 6 days. This week, Logan Tom's team will play 3 matches in 5 days and all on the road (6 matches in 2 weeks). No rest for the weary!

They are too tired. Busto played 4 matches just in seven days. The schedule is ridiculous. Still a match Busto could/should have won, IMO. They had the lead and set point in the first set and lost it. It could have been a different match if they won that first set. It's the price to pay for competing in European cups. ;D Two weeks ago, Heather Bown's team played 3 matches in 6 days. This week, Logan Tom's team will play 3 matches in 5 days and all on the road (6 matches in 2 weeks). No rest for the weary! That's true. Usually it would be only 2 matches per week but club season is shortened because Olympic qualification is right after. I hope USA players can stay healthy while playing so many matches. I heard Tom got injured in the Turkish Cup. Any info if she'll play in Champions League?

That's true. Usually it would be only 2 matches per week but club season is shortened because Olympic qualification is right after. The good thing is that USA is already qualified for London so that stress has been lifted off them. Tom injured her shoulder and got treatment for it during their last match. She's on the travelling team in Czech Republic. Don't see her sitting out a match by choice, but Fenerbahce has lots of injuries and I know they want to be fully healthy for their tougher matches in the next round (possibly vs Rabita Baku). Edit: Fenerbahce stays with Logan-Kim combo at OH, Naz-Seda, and Fabiana-Eda. In the middle of the first set, Liubov replaced Seda and played the rest of the match as opposite. Fenerbahce 3-1 Prostejov

Shortest team vs. Tallest team in Champions league. Should be fun. Go Cortese!!

I thought this might happen... Marcello Abbondanza goes with Giulia Pincerato as starting setter for Cortese instead of Berg. Curious decision.

Anyone know of a stream to watch the league with Murphy and Jaeckal in it? I read on usa volleyball that Murphy scored 12 points and Jaeckal nine in a four set loss to one of their opponents.

Didn't see her either. I know Berg was excited to play this match. Then apparently earlier today came the decision to play Pincerato instead. Don't know if it's for injury reason or strategy... In any case, their second setter played well. Cortese 3-2 Dinamo Moscow
