Mercyhurst's got everyone right where they want them. I've seen Merciful play, so that place had better be a food poisoning emergency triage. ;D (Yes, I assume you were kidding.)

OK, NOBODY can accuse me of beating this into the ground. "vb" is FORCING me to bring this up again. The answer to your question "vb" is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! A BIG FAT NO! Their record alone is nowhere NEAR ENOUGH to get them the "at large" bid. THEY HAVEN'T PLAYED ANYONE. If I was coaching and I put my teams schedule together, and we played the St. Francis NUNS, and the School for the Blind, and The Academy of Art's and Sciences, and a bunch of D3 teams like OHIO STATE DID THIS YEAR, and we went 25-0 during the regular season and then we lost in the MIVA Final, SHOULD MY TEAM GET THE AT LARGE BID? ? WHEN THE TEAMS OUT HERE IN THE MPSF ARE PLAYING TOP 10 OPPONENTS ALMOST EVERY NIGHT!!!!!!!!! Come on man. THINK!!! Think, think, think here. NO WAY ON THIS EARTH OSU OR ANY MIVA TEAM GETS THE AT LARGE BID. There has only been one team from the MIVA that I have ever seen that could have deserved to get the "at large" bid and that was the team Lewis had a few years back. But besides being really good their coach also put them through a tough schedule. So to answer your question "vb" NO FREAKEN WAY!!

BS,
We usually agree....this time you are wrong. Home court counts alot. OSU can backdoor into the FF. I agree...not likely, but def possible.

Vb sorry not possible at this point. I agree with BS on that point but I disagree with the other. That if OSU went undefeated and lost in the finals of the MIVA that they would "definitely" not get the at large. I still think it's a stretch due to their weak RPI, but to say for sure considering they are hosting that is even to bold for you. Not big on what ifs so thats all I'll say about that, but if (ok last one) OSU doesn't win the tournament I am certain their season is over.

Does anyone know what days and times these championships or any other games will be aired on CSTV or ESPNU?

Sorry "vb" TOTALLY, 100%, IMPOSSIBLE!!!! The 3 members of the committee that decides the "at large" bid will NOT even consider Ohio State for it. IMPOSSIBLE!! And I'm right about the other thing also. You can't play NOBODY and get selected for the "at large" bid based on a good record. The ONE TIME THAT AN MIVA did get the "at large" bid was back in 94 and they were hosting the Championship. HOWEVER the other team that was in the running for the bid with them was Stanford and IPFW HAD A HEAD TO HEAD WIN OVER STANFORD!!! That is why they got it. There is NO CHANCE of OSU getting it this year!
