I'm nervous. Ever since Brazil's bad play in the early part of the prelims they have played well, and they just might play their best match of the last 3 years today.... I want USA to win but I'm soooo nervous.

I want USA to win but I'm soooo nervous. Brazil playing well wont be enough to do it. If US also plays well they cant beat us. It will require an exceptional effort from Brazil and a sub par performance by the US. Of course that is possible. |

Here in brazil we were very disapoited whem ZRG left behind Fabiola and brought Fernandinha. ZRG has had tons of critcs about that. But i believe that he did that because Dani Lins does not play well whem she feels under pressure in her case pression's name is Fabiola that used tobe the seconde setter in Brasil.brazilians are relly impressed the way Dani lins is playing. We had a nick name for her here in Brasil : pane lins. Pane means inthat case a good setter that play very well and sunddenly stops plaiyng. Thats why nobody belived that we will a medal in this OG. I want USA to win but I'm soooo nervous. I am nervous too. This is USA best chance to win their first major title. They missed a great great chance last year at the world cup. Tom, Scott and Haneef already completed their silver medals collection of the 3 major tournaments (2002 world championship, 2011 world cup and 2008 OG). I am sure they want a gold medal now. Furthermore, we do not know who the next coach is, if he/she is as inept as Knipe,winning a major is hard task even if strong players returns. |

That's odd(typical NBC) my normal NBC Olympics app says 1:30 but my NBC Olympics live extra app says 1:00. Too bad I'm out in cell waste land this weekend for the live extra app to really work. Guess I wait for the Cliffs Notes version tonight. GO USA!!

I have said this before and will say it again, Jacqueline as an OH will never be enough for Brazil to win the gold. They has to have that Paula Pequeno of 2008 in order to defeat the US team. |
