*spoiler* It's that one movie where this jazz band drummer guy gets hit by a semi bus, but he goes to his performance anyway, covered in blood. I remember seeing a movie with JK Simmons in it. About drumming. But maybe I dreamed it. I thought Miles Teller was in it too. Nope. I see Paul Reiser was in it. I haven't seen Paul in anything since Mad About You. I have seen LaLa Land, and First Man. So Chazelle is not unknown to me. Who has it? Looks like no one, except for $$. You lost me with that last bit.

Yes, it was poorly stated. I wanted to know which subscription service is showing it, because I have several. But it looks like it is only available as pay-per-view.
Unless you mean the bit about the director.

Gemini Man
Will Smith. Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Directed by Ang Lee. Mostly disappointing film but some good action scenes. I knew nothing about the film but my wife, who's a smart cookie, said, "Maybe it has something to do with twins? Because, you know, Gemini, twin?"

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood Tom Hanks. Matthew Rhys. I was surprised how much I liked this film despite the presence of a "broken" character. I'm getting somewhat tired of "broken" characters. Characters can be normal and still be interesting. I thought this was going to be a straight biopic, which is why I stayed away from this film for some time. Turns out, this isn't a straight biopic nor even a biopic.

Jojo Rabbit Really loved it. Rosie: Love is the strongest thing in the world.
Jojo: I think you’ll find that metal is the strongest thing in the world, followed closely by dynamite, and then muscles.

Really liked JoJo Rabbit. The acting was very good. And, look! There's Theon again. He didn't do much of anything, except bring in a pack of German Shepherds.

I haven't seen the film but I know the history of the Manson "family" during that time period from reading Vincent Bugliosi's Helter Skelter (which I read in my teens and really loved it). For some reason, I really enjoyed this street tour of the crime spree. It's not sensationalist. It's a no-frills "here's where this happened" street tour. Watched the whole thing. LOL! Ok....just keep in mind the title of the movie. I'll leave it at that. Every scene is unique and precise and the surrounding attention to detail is profoundly well done. Okay. So, I saw the movie last week. I now understand what you meant. Totally surprising and unexpected ending.

I still don't understand what Tarantino was trying to express with that ending, if anything.

Terminator Dark Fate (2019) I liked it but I have a soft spot for The Terminator franchise. At first, when the female character from the future made her first appearance, I swear to God I thought that was Robin Wright (although at the time, I said to my wife, "That's Clare Underwood!"). But she's Mackenzie Davis, an actress who happens to look like Robin Wright. It got lukewarm reviews from critics but positive reviews from moviegoers, per Rotten Tomatoes. Mackenzie Davis: Robin Wright:

The Terminator (1984)
The wife and I watched this after Terminator: Dark Fate (2019). Boy, does it look aged. The acting (by everyone) wasn't so hot. Almost bad. Even Arnold still didn't perfect the Terminator character, as he sometimes did "human" things like moving herky-jerky sometimes. But the stunts and the pacing in the second half still hold up well.

Interestingly enough, I thought that Davis's character and Kristen Wiig's character looked somewhat similar in The Martian. Davis: Wiig:
