This job opens every two years, like clockwork. Yeah, and usually very late. Like many schools they turn over coaches and rosters too quick to create any consistency. It does make it impressive what Dave Hildebrandt ( www.avca.org/awards/thirtyunder30/david-hildebrandt/) was able to accomplish at Newbury with NO gym. |

He did pretty good job and I was surprised to see him go. |

They let the coach before this last one go as saying "He wasn't the right fit". The AD does not know what they want for the program and will now be hiring her 3rd head coach in her four years at the school. Not a good track record for the AD. |
