Law & Order started again a couple of weeks ago, and they're taking stories directly from the headlines with a twist. First episode remarkably similar to the Bill Cosby saga. Second episode reminds me of the female CEO that was arrested for peddling fake something. I forget her name and company she created.Watching the third one now, maybe something to do with Gabby Petito Sounds like you're talking about Elizabeth Holmes. How would you compare this version of Law & Order to the original?

How would you compare this version of Law & Order to the original? Don't think it changed much, aside from the characters. I'm comparing it to the last season(s) I have watched....which is like S14. Format seems the same, a little weird seeing McCoy as the DA...but after so many years as ADA I'd say its about time. But no one beats Adam Schiff as the DA. Nice thing about the first episode of S21 was the appearance of Jamie Ross.

I believe McCoy was the DA in the last iteration of the show before it was canceled. I really like the original show, though it depends on the season. I usually judge by who the lawyers are. Basically, the seasons with Elisabeth Rohm were subpar, but most of the rest were good.

Not a lot of fire in her, and least it didn't show. Angie Harmon's Abbie Carmichael, though, was my favorite. Think I will need to fire up her first season with the show.

The new Law & Order is on Hulu, so I'll check it out when I have some time.

The best show on TV, Better Call Saul, returned for a 2.5-hour premiere of its final season. It's been almost exactly two years since the fifth season premiered, so it's been a very long wait, but it was worth it. This is my most anticipated final season since The Americans in 2018.

That was quite an episode of Better Call Saul. Have to wait seven more weeks for the second half of the final season.

I watched a series/documentary about the Woody Allen/Mia Farrow chaos. It definitely leaned positive towards Mia, and frames Woody as a pedophile. I didn’t need this show to convince me of that, since I already thought he was a creep. But it brought up some interesting questions. When artists are monsters, should we quit supporting their art? Easy for me to say I’ll never watch another Woody Allen movie. Not so easy to say I’ll never listen to Michael Jackson again. I’m in a quandary.

I can still listen to Michael Jackson, but I completely understand why other people can't.
