Looks like the 22 list is out. Can anyone see where the NE 22s are? Little kubik, allick, boseiger and the reclassed Mendelson? All I saw in different thread was Allick #2 and Mendelson #4. Kubik dropped from top 10

Is this good? This seems good. Is Murray really the #1 recruit for 2023? Don’t get me wrong and this is no disrespect to her but I have seen enough of her play during the U18 tournament.. she didn’t pass well nor was the best hitter (hard to beat Wucherer though). I could be wrong and it might change but must be a down year for OHs if she is the best OH in 2023.

Only behind Choboy and around the level of Chicocine.

Some would even throw Chicoine in there, but she'll probably end up a bro at PSU. Take national team performance with a grain of salt. Some kids adjust quickly to the new system, setters, etc., and some don't. You're not going to get a good look at what a player is capable of until they're trained in a system for awhile.

I don't think much about rankings but I wouldn't argue if someone said Murray is #1. Incredible player and glad she's a Husker. Her athleticism was clearly evident at Worlds. She will be great as a Husker.

The only people "worried" about the official ranking # are non-Husker fans hoping to throw some shade on the players. The true experts offered them scholarships, and having watched them since they committed, I am confident in their abilities and looking forward to seeing them in a Husker uniform. What I saw in the U18 was Harper trying too hard to live up to the hype and then dwelling on mistakes. You do not see that when she plays club or High School.

Was it Nebraska recruiting Jureivicius and Reilly that moved them up or was it going to the U18 USNT tryouts and earning a spot on the team? Was it Reyes, Cook and Sheffield watching every club match that Reilly played that moved her up or was it her actual play in that U18 world championship matches? Murray suffered in the U18 tournament because the first setter they played could not set her, but her passing and blocking were elite level for U18. Murray will be a great player at Nebraska. The U18 team never played well offensively until the change was made to Reilly at setter. Jurevicius got the least amount of time of anyone on that roster-by a long way.

How does Murray compare to Ally/Lindsay/Whitney and Kubik 2.0-I haven’t really watched any U18 or club games.
Gonna be crazy competition for those three spots, especially if Mendelson is moved to the pin as well. Who do you all think should be starting in two years time?
Also why did Kubik 2.0 drop out of the ‘22 top 10?

Also why did Kubik 2.0 drop out of the ‘22 top 10? Didn't have a stellar club season last year. It was good but not what people expect of her. Didn't get an invite for the Top 20 USAV girls trying out for the U18 team. I assume whoever is in charge at PrepVolleyball these days took those things into consideration. Really excited to see what she does as a Husker!

With all the talent currently on the team + the talent coming in behind her, I have a hard time seeing her having significant floor time. Her being #1 whenever the first ranking came out may not have been the most accurate, but she is still a stellar player and would love to see her prove me wrong.

When I have watched her, I never saw another Madi, but I did see another Raina Terry.
