well, That's what The Cardinal is claiming...... so, nothing is too set in stone on her yet. There are plenty of GREAT middle's out there though. I wonder who else NE is looking at?

..... crickets-crickets ??
I did hear Nebraska has offered to Raegan LeGrand. Does anyone have any information on her? I guess she was recruited as a libero? I don't think she has committed anywhere yet.

I don't think she has committed anywhere yet. Saw her play several times as a freshman when she was still playing libero. What a remember most was she didn't carry herself as a freshman on the court. Even playing with the Rolfzens, Kelly Hunter and the rest of the star studded lineup, she definitely seemed to know that she belonged on the court as much as anyone else. This isn't terribly surprising given that her mom was an outstanding head coach at Bellevue West and she has a couple cousins who played college volleyball. She'll be a stud and a leader on the court wherever she goes. It'll be a good get for NE if she comes here but I'm pretty sure she's going to have other high quality options.

With a name like Legrand she is bound to be a crowd favorite. Hope the Huskers add her to their roster. PER PREPVOLLEYBALL SITE:Raegan LeGrand, Soph., Papillion-La Vista South (Papillion, Nebraska) – LeGrand earned Second Team All-State Class A honors for the Titans in 2013 by contributing more than 350 kills and 300 digs one year after she served as libero for the 2012 PrepVolleyball.com National Champions. Thanks JT. Could this be another Wonder Woman?

I read up on Hunter Atherton, Allick, are these kids good? I haven't heard much on any of them on the grand scale. Don't know much about Hunter other than her parents both played and coached. She's been around the game but is relatively new to setting. I'm guessing Cook sees the upside with her given the height and VB IQ. Allick is an under-the-radar huge get. Nobody really knew about her until this past year. Bond really wanted her at Iowa and Hugh contacted her as well. I posted in another thread, but she has that quick explosiveness that Kira Larson has except Sarah will end up about 6'3" - 6'4". She already touches 10'4"-ish so her ceiling could be freaky. She won't hurt Husker marketing either, that young lady is extremely attractive.

Just saw on a Husker board that Leagrand has committed to USC.

I remember reading somewhere that Nebraska offered a scholarship to that setter from Northern Lights (sorry, name escapes me right now).

I think with Kenzie Maloney committed to the Huskers, she figured she would be a sub/DS. Might have been a good decision for her. Yup. Between Justine and Kenzie the Husker libero spot is probably on lock through 2019.

the Northern Lights setter is Bri Orr, but then everyone is after her and talk is Minnesota is her first choice.
