Nonbiased opinions please, but what is the appeal with living in Nebraska for four years? This is a really good question. If all things were equal, why would you come to Lincoln? We have all four seasons here. Fall is beautiful, and Spring is pretty amazing. Winter is cold and grey, and Summer is stupid hot and humid, but if you want something different just wait a month or two. There's water skiing and sledding and fishing and hunting (if you're into that) and we have one of the best walking/biking trail systems in the Midwest. You saw some pictures of those in Vup's post. But maybe the best thing here is that it's peaceful. If you're tired of being around people you can drive 20 minutes and be alone. Like, Alone alone. No civilization around you, but not the desert like outside LA or San Diego. Nature is close here. There's also very little crime here compared to cities Lincoln's size. If you're sending your kid to a town and you want her to be safe, Lincoln is a pretty good place to be. We have no mountains or oceans or big tourist destinations, that's true. If that's your thing, the best thing about Lincoln is you can fly there from here. Also, unless you're driving, the people are really nice here. Most folks will go out of their way to be friendly or helpful. That's not a unique feature of Lincoln compared to the rest of the country, but it's a plus. |

When do we find out who makes the roster? Also, what are everyone’s guesses as to who makes it? we found out the U21 group a day or 2 before the tournament started. I would guess Harper, Maggie, and Bergen make it. |

Sounds like Skyler didn't make it: I have watched her a couple times in competition and my DD trained with her at NTDP in Anaheim. Genuinely a nice kid and good teammate. |

Andi is a freak show. Grown 1.5" since she committed and touches 10'9" now. Most impressive thing about her is her agility though, such quick feet and gets up so quickly.
