Sure, I guess, but this doesn't answer my question. I certainly don't need to defend Nebraska (I don't live there, nor do I want to) but your question largely depends on your audience. Appeal for whom? a child? a single person? a college student who isn't an athlete? a person of color? a family? these could all elicit different responses. If it's for high level D1 volleyball college athletes, I'd say, well, why does it matter? These players spend August - December 90% of time either in class, training, sleeping, studying, traveling, or playing matches....and nowadays another 5% is devoted to curating social media posts to flood to the masses. All of that can be done at almost any college campus in the country and location makes little difference. Then factor in that many indoor players also play beach and its rinse and repeat for March - May. June and July most of these players aren't on campus much (back home, traveling, other playing opportunities, whatever). Like many university locations, Lincoln is a big college town...lots of likeminded people that are centered and focus on the same things everyone else is. Also, I'd wager that in Lincoln, the boys are just as cute and the booze doesn't taste any different. You think major division 1 volleyball players are away from their schools in May, June, July? |

Wonder who was the 4th zoom call for the 2024 class. Would be sad to be that close and then be the only one of 4 who didn't commit unless it was their choice. |

Harper Murray and Skyler Pierce both reached big milestones for their high school teams last night. Skyler's got 1000 kills and Harper has 2000 kills.

Harper is gonna make a huge impact next year, Skyler when she gets here will too. Harper has a killer swing and honestly I bet she could be the new Kubik. |
