With Watson choosing Pitt, is that the end of pursuit of an OH?

With Watson choosing Pitt, is that the end of pursuit of an OH? I would never say it’s a bad thing to land a top OH, but I think Nebraska is pretty solid at that position. I would think they are still waiting on a MB commit.

With Watson choosing Pitt, is that the end of pursuit of an OH? Anticipated end? Likely, but never say never. It's always situational. They weren't in pursuit of another middle last year after they missed on Harvey, but then Ogbechie fell in their lap. If an OH they coveted all of a sudden was available they would explore the possibility. However, they're really high on two OHs in the 2027 class, one of them is probably the best pin prospect of the past 2-3 years, so not having a crowded roster at that position helps in that regard.

She started looking around as soon as Davis was fired. She contacted Nebraska (among other schools during the spring). It's not like Nebraska talked her into re-opening her recruitment. Same can be said for their other recruits. Coaching change, it happens.

Someone not from the damn state of Texas thank god To be fair there’s plenty of players in Nebraska they could’ve recruited but they chose to target players from Texas instead. I bet West from Skutt Catholic would’ve loved to play at Nebraska. I don’t understand your point? I’m obviously referring to two of the top desired OHs nationally from the last two classes being from the state of Texas. That’s the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.
