With Watson choosing Pitt, is that the end of pursuit of an OH? Anticipated end? Likely, but never say never. It's always situational. They weren't in pursuit of another middle last year after they missed on Harvey, but then Ogbechie fell in their lap. If an OH they coveted all of a sudden was available they would explore the possibility. However, they're really high on two OHs in the 2027 class, one of them is probably the best pin prospect of the past 2-3 years, so not having a crowded roster at that position helps in that regard. Do you think the last scholarship available will go to an MB?

I don’t understand your point? I’m obviously referring to two of the top desired OHs nationally from the last two classes being from the state of Texas. That’s the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. I didn’t mean that in a rude way, sorry if it came off like that. But my point was what you were saying didn't make sense. there’s many elite players from all over the country each year, and Nebraska gets their pick of any of them pretty much (even in Texas). I didn’t understand why we were thanking God that a certain player wasn’t from Texas. It makes perfect sense. There are great players all over the country. Nebraska wants the best. The past two years, two of the players who they were very high on happened to be from the state of Texas and Texas also happened to want them. That’s just factual, it’s not like a scandalous statement. So yes, I’m happy recruiting wise to not have to compete against the in-state factor. Saying “well you could recruit someone else, like from Nebraska” is just like uh ok
