Anyone know if Ryan Hunter is back playing yet or what her timeframe looks like? Seems like Pierce may have a future on the right, who knows. With #1 recruit Sigler coming in with her all around game, it will be very crowded on left side.

Sigler has just went to a whole new level the past few years. I just don't see her not taking that 2nd leftside spot with Murray next year. Her passing is just too good. And we're gonna need help with that next season. LANDFAIR needs reps at RIGHTSIDE 🤞 Ogbechie is quite the get for Nebraska. Blocking so good for her. I see her contributing next season as well. Nice set of recruits Is Sigler's passing really that good? Will it hold up in college?

While I am as high on Hunter as anyone - I think her ceiling and physicality are up there - I doubt coach would entrust such a pivotal role to a frosh coming off an injury. I think if Pierce adds physicality to her game, she could be a terminal oppo As I said in another post somewhere, this seems like a no-brainer move for Pierce. She can either stay on the left side, where next year she will be competing with Murray and Landfair for a spot, or she can move to the right side, where she would be competing with a true freshman coming off a significant injury. Seems to me that the quickest path to seeing time on the court is for her to move to the right side. I am curious to see what she chooses to do. Blocking is the glaring issue there. Need a big block on that RS. her blocking on RS is a work in progress for her right now.

I would be surprised if Nebraska doesn’t grab an oppo out of the transfer portal. And I would also be surprised if we don’t see someone transfer out. I look at our DS’s and feel like whoever doesn’t grab the lib jersey next year is a likely candidate especially with Leimbach coming in. Both Choboy and Mauch would be lib at most other schools. Not sure either would be content in DS role for 3 (maybe 4) years of their career

With #1 recruit Sigler coming in with her all around game, it will be very crowded on left side. Her recent post on Instagram shows her training and says ‘Day 164 Post-Op’ on Sept 1st. So I’m thinking she’s right at the 6 month mark.

Alright, hear me out. Train Skyler on the right side and bring in a back up opposite from the portal, red shirt Ryan Hunter her freshman year (I’m excited about her ceiling but think she will need a lot of time to be ready to compete at that level), and move Jayden to the left side (i am curious to see how terminal Teraya and Gabby will be in the college game).
Thoughts??

I wonder if there would be any thought of moving Andi to the right. I don't think reading is her strong suit and with her vertical she would put up a great right side block without needing to read like a middle. Plus it would get her a lot more swings.

Been saying this for a while now! She could just hit over the block!!

See your reasoning, if there were 4 MB's on the roster, but as of now I think there are only 3 for 2025.
