Yahoo! Glad Jen is continuing her volleyball career. I've always thought more of Carey's setting as compared to Vakasausau and was surprised that Margaret was able to secure a professional contract before Jen. But who knows, maybe Jen had better things going on at the time.

From the website.... " Can anyone translate?

Google says: 1. League women: An American for Berlin Straight one still in time to the season premiere traveled the US American Jennifer Carey, in order to strengthen the citizen of Berlin BVC 68. The 24-jaehrige Zuspielerin had one short employment with the clear 0:3 in cathedrals however only, because she had landed coming from of Los Angeles only the eve of the play day in Berlin Tegel and still fought with the consequences of the time conversion. The 1.78 meters long student played so far at the University OF Hawaii.

I'm always in stitches after reading a google translation. Me too. I especially liked "The 1.78 meters long student played so far at the University OF Hawaii" not only for the description of her but also for the emphasis on "OF."

Try to make sense of their Italian to English translations and this will look like a work of literary art!

But who knows, maybe Jen had better things going on at the time. From their junior year, I thought Margaret was the better setter. To me it looked like Margaret sets came out more clean than Jens. It looked like Jen was putting so much effort into her sets while Margaret just looked natural when she was setting.

Where is Margaret now? Is she still playing for Sibinek?

Div. Women: An American for Berlin
Just in time for the beginning of the season the American Jennifer Carey arrived to strengthen the Berliner-BVC 68. The 24-year old setter played only for a short time in the clear 0:3 defeat vs Munster (defending cup-winner and champ) because she arrived just the previous evening in Berlin coming from Los Angeles and still suffered from jetlag. The 1.78m-tall student formerly played for the University of Hawaii.

Source: Berliner BVC 68How can a 6'1 be only 1.78m ? Isn't 1 inch=2.54cm or something like that ?

6'1" should be about 1.85m. Was the listing at UH inflated or the German article inaccurate? 1.78m is about 5'10" - 5'10.5"
