I wish Misty considered adding tennis facilities as well. Tennis runs in her family's blood on her mom's side.

Skepticism, not pessimism. I'd love to see it succeed, but it's a hard venture to pull off. It doesn't matter how nice or complete the facility is if you can't readily get to it. Your skepticism is perhaps warranted considering your prior experiences with the ASC. As with any business venture, time will be the true test of success but rest assured knowing that MMTSC management is doing everything in its power to prevail in the areas where other sports facilities may have fallen short.

The concept sounds great in theory, but there can't possibly be the space for that and adequate, accessible parking. There's not even a swap meet across the street. #notbuyingit Please see response above: "Parking will not be an issue. The facility will have a combination of 850 parking spots (and more if necessary), both onsite and in closely adjacent lots. I dunno know about competition with ASC. SCVA's offices are in the ASC building. Perhaps this is the is the JVAs entry into SoCal? Stay tuned. Although, I have nothing but good things to say about the SCVA. They might be hard to reach on the phone (they are!) But they run great tournaments for the juniors and for the most part do a great job managing 1200+ teams inside the SoCal region.

Here is a picture of Misty signing the partnership agreement with MMTSC Managing Member Mike Rangel and Tom McCarthy, Misty's agent.

No way that a brand-new facility with so much on the line puts all their eggs in a basket that primarily exists 1,000 miles away.

www.mvvbc.comLooks like Mission Viejo volleyball club will be the new club there. The club director, George Gay, is the new club director for this new club. No offense to Mission Viejo volleyball club, but if this is the club that will be there, how does this facility really make them a top talent club?

With 20+ courts, they've got room for three or four clubs.

My sources indicate that the little experiment with Misty and USC ended badly...don not look for her to re-enter that sand volleyball morasse any time soon.

What makes this official that her stint with USC ended at all? She can still be an assistant coach while her training center is being run by a staff.

With 20+ courts, they've got room for three or four clubs. Yes indeed. And remember all of the basketball and futsal clubs/leagues in Orange County the need quality, consistent court space.

There is a huge demand, right now, for LACROSS facilities, with very few available. That might be something that they could look at as well. I know that in the South LA County area there are bascially none and most of these kids have to go to the OC to find a place to practice. Also for the person who doubted my comments about the USC Sand situation and Misty, I stand by my comments and whomever you are talking to who states otherwise must be related to the USC Sand Coach! HA! I would be very surprised if Misty ever does anything for that institution again!

Scholarship high school players?? Isn't that an NCAA violation? Not permitted here in PA.
