That's right.. bring back the bad memories. According to some, it depended on which entrance you came through. The one I went through was checking anything that looked like a camera bag, and ignoring the bottom of any large purse/bag which had pompoms, t-shirts, or other stuff thrown in on top. I had a camera bag, and had nothing large to stuff it in. Heck... at one point, the announcer told people to please stop using their flashes. Not "stop taking pictures," mind you, just "stop using your flashes." In case anyone cares to know, I'm the guy w/ gold hair (2nd from the bottom, left column). It was maroon for all the previous matches this season. -- jt -- You ought to have told the person that refused to let you enter the arena with your camera that you would be "flashing" in the stands later if they wouldn't let you proceed with your camera! Do you think changing the color of your hair for the match against USC had any appreciable impact on the outcome of the match?

Snuck your camera in? Tis nothing, I-boy. I snuck MYSELF in. Ho ho ho... Prove it. I did.

How do I prove I bypassed security? Oh, I can't. Besides, I don't have this insatiable* thirst to prove anything to the distinguished members of this forum, like you do, I-boy.
Footnote: *-my first X-rated flick ever. I saw it on campus while in college and even now, I still can't believe a student film coop decided to show that film.

Would they? [/quote] Yes, they would. Florida beat Hawaii, the better team won, and yet I knew stuff like this would continue to go on. Give the Gators credit already and get over it.

I don't mean to argue, but I don't see anyway to prove this one way or another. Some people would say Hawaii beat themselves, others would say Florida beat them, others would say other things. It is nearly impossible to argue an opinion as being flat out wrong, any way you look at it. In my opinion, Florida won. I give them credit for the win, but am not necesarily over it. I just think that its not polite or even possible to declare opinions as "right" or "wrong."

So, when a team beats another, on a neutral court, the winning team isn't better? What more do they have to do for some Hawaii fans to accept that Florida was the better team this past year? I just don't get it. Hawaii didn't beat themselves, Florida won. They came through in the clutch and won the big points when they had to.

Then what's the point?
And just for the record, several UH fans have said on this board that Hawaii was still the better team, they just had an off night. That, I still don't understand.

The point is this: A poster said "some people think that Hawaii beat Hawaii." You said: "They are wrong." I say: "How can you prove if they are wrong or not?" Not much of a point, I guess, just that its okay for people to have contrary OPINIONS. As far as Hawaii fans saying that Hawaii was still the better team, that is there opinion and in this country they are entitled it. I understand their point. I understand your point. It all boils down to Florida beat Hawaii and SC smoked everyone. Not the storied ending that I'd prefer, but a lot of things don't go my way.

Iowa had the best team in the country last season! They just seemed to have a lot more off nights than all those teams everyone bothered to rank and discuss in terms of being good.

Well, those people are living in denial then. I guess it makes some feel better to think that their team beat themselves, instead of crediting Florida for doing everything necessary to win the match. It's really not giving Florida enough credit at all. That'd be like me saying USC didn't beat Florida, Florida beat themselves.
It is okay for people to have contrasting opinions, but when the better team wins, and people don't give the better team credit, then that is wrong.

I'll take over the dumb, dumber, and dumberest points. I don't know if you're qualified for that. Dumbass, dumbassier, and dumbassiest, perhaps.
