watched to Oklahoma-LSU match last night and I was thinking, isn't there an Assistant position opening for the Tigers down in Baton Rouge?

Sam won't be returning, not sure if they use Russell in that role, or if he has enough with his sand role, although they could elevate him, and also elevate their volunteer sand assistant in the same process.

There is someone already involved with LSU and has been for years. He may fit into that role well

TCU is going all in with their volleyball program. Meaning they are going after a big big name?

Outside guess at the Notre Dame job -- Mike Lingenfelter, currently of Asics Munciana (club). He's former coach at Cincinnati (twice), and was at Memphis between those two stints. He has been out of college ball for a while, but his daughter has finished HS, and he has said many times that Notre Dame was on the list (of 2 schools) that he would consider. Don't be surprised if his name is in the mix.

Meaning they are going after a big big name? Meaning they are putting in big bucks which allows you to after big names! I can believe that because TCU is a school that has some wealthy athletic boosters that support individual sports outside of football, and one thing Prentice Lewis did well was build decent support for the volleyball team and they charge for attending games. They are not in any way a revenue positive sport, but they are not a real drain either so I can see the AD upping the ante to get a coach they feel can take them to a higher level.

Could theoretically be a paycut for Mike, no? Plus, I agree with oldman; his cards are heavily stacked against a move back to college.

Are there any other Muncie-related names people want to throw out there?
