I'm not sure what status Azavedo is... I assume no, so we still have 3 scholarships to offer.
I assume Nguyen has an offer..and maybe Madi Andrews? We might need another MB or OH

Who is that? Is she good? looks like she was recruited by programs like Kentucky, USD, UCLA, Illinois among others How did you know what programs are recruiting her? |

Welcome Hayden! Another solid pickup! I’ve been on pins and needles re the recruiting situation at Washington and 2026 was needing to be a big class. I actually am relieved and pleased by the 2026 class. These are all quality prospects relative to the their peers.

For sure on Kaitlyn, need to lock in the libero of the future, but we also need another good pin. I could see us holding out the scholarship for the transfer portal and either pick up someone with 2+ years of eligibility in 2024-2025 or 1+ years of eligibility in 2025-2026.

It seems Kaitlyn has been the best player on her teams for the last 4-5 years. Amazingly, during that time she never played her age group.
My only fear is that some beach coach convinces her that sand is real volleyball...

Some news on the Huskies' 2026 class:
Lily Mae Buerkle was named to the All-Tournament Team at GJNC 16 National. Her team (NPJ) went to the Gold Bracket and finished tied for 5th
Sammy Destler's team: SCVC 16 Roxy won the 16 Open

Stanford fans speculating that Kaitlyn Nguyen may be applying to play on the farm. Anyone have insight?
On the plus side, Azavedo looks like a good pick up for 2025 when they lose Bays. Still anticipating the staff will add a hitter from the transfer portal in 2025. Will be interesting to see how the new roster limits shake out.
