Picked 6th. Hmm. I could see that, but I could also see better. And I think another player or two can make the All conference team by the end of the season.

We've got a third setter on the roster. Greek. I think it's a depth piece?
I imagine there weren't a ton of pins available with the free scholarship after Acevedo's transfer.

Strange no ig or twitter announcement. And did we need another setter? Have two more coming in next year. Evelina Gerogianni S 5' 11'' Fr. Thessaloniki, Greece Hellenic Academy

She might be more of a DS/service sub option too.

Gets training and a good practice experience, and then possibly/likely transfers next year.

Well, that might be a bit premature, but we'll see how she fits in. Just saying the past recruits in this mold have not turned out to be big on-court contributors.

With all the new faces at setter I'm curious to see who replaces Pukis. My money is on Cline, though

I got a free year as “Welcome to the B1G, Oregon fans” link I found on X. I’ll see if I can find the link/thread. ETA: Nevermind, the link was deleted. It says the offer is suspended but will be available again before the season begins. Also, are B1G+ and BTN+ the same or different? I’m talking about B1G+, apologies if you were asking about the other! I’m new to this conference. 😉

Chiming in as a Big Ten fan: B1G+ and BTN+ are both abbreviations for the same thing, Big Ten Plus.
It's a paid subscription service that streams video of games that are not broadcast on the Big Ten Network or FS1/FS2. The productions are usually (maybe entirely?) student produced so it's kind of a mixed bag with people that are not professionals at this but it's great to have all the volleyball games streamed and archived for on-demand replays. And sometimes you'll even get professional play by play announcers and/or analysts subbing in on broadcasts- the past couple seasons we've often had at least one professional broadcaster as part of the broadcast duo calling Illinois home matches on BTN+. Also, students on each Big Ten campus have free access to BTN+ on their school's internet network.
The Big Ten Network, AKA BTN, is the cable channel. I don't know what the availability is for the BTN channel outside of the previous 14 school region but if you do have it, those games can be streamed on the Fox Sports App.
That's the main info but feel free to hit me up with other questions- I might have answers as a long time Big Ten homer : )

Don't forget for volleyball fans in general, vbtv airs some B1G games as well. So if you already have that subscription, hopefully we'll have some duck games on there as well.
