August was a LOT of fun to watch last year. Having her run and be on the court the whole time really pushed to her to be better.
The era with benson and maggie scott was just so poor in quality and level it wasn't fun at all to watch.
August raskie running the show froze the blockers, and she had so much variety in the setter dump that you never know when it's coming. She probably should've done more in that game vs Nebraska.

Oregon what a week. This is awesome.
If they can get at least one win they should be ranked in the Volleytalk top 10 next week

How has Murphy been doing in the libero role? First time I saw them was last night and I was not impressed. For this team to finish top 4 in the Pac I think Borup needs to get healthy and Nuneviller needs to play Libero. That’s the strongest team I see them putting on the floor. Both middles looked awesome but the passing was not there last night. |

That looks like a bag they just threw on it. I understand trying to throw opponents off and all that but there's no way she plays this weekend right? She was screaming in pain last night. Another player’s insta showed her in a boot with crutches. Hopefully just a sprain but seems highly unlikely she’ll be on it this weekend. Actually maybe that takes some pressure off the freshmen since no one expects them to win against Penn St or Minny without both Borup and Willow. Play, get reps, get better.... |

How has Murphy been doing in the libero role? Not strong at all. Tastad or Van Sickle might have beaten her out for that spot had they stayed. Even rasmussen. Serve receive is dire, almost worse than middles playing backrow taking a serve receive. Her defense is ok though. Definitely still a freshman and have a lot to learn. |

That was her first match with high stakes in a tough environment, both physically and emotionally, she is a stud and you will all get to see why she was ranked as the top 2019 libero by all the college coaches that put her there. BTW, no one really had a good match last night for the team except Ronika, give them some time to gel together. The lineup even changed from the first matches in regard to rotation. With Willow looking to be out (hopefully short term--please), looks like one senior, one sophomore and 6-7 FRESHMEN will be getting some high level volleyball experience in the regular rotation this weekend!! #GoDucks |

I don't know if she would have won the spot, but Tastad would certainly be playing more at Oregon than she's been playing at USD. |
