Princeton's setter could be playing at a higher ranked program and their right side is money and making good choices right now, but Oregon is not playing well at all. Block isn't up to snuff, not taking good swings or doing good things out of system, just really forced play. Panic, maybe? I know I've seen Washington teams go through that. There was that one year when they lost a bad match at Colorado and suddenly then they couldn't win anything for a few weeks. I'd say there's discomfort because the OOS stuff that would go to Willow just has nowhere to go, but the girls on court have to figure it out - the lefts are going to need to take some of those swings regardless. Ronika is great, but she's a slide hitter whose best attribute is her speed - there's just a limit to how much of the load she can take, and that's just for the three rotations when she's up front. We need more assertive swings OOS from the pins. Edit: It looks like the left side block has woken up.

I foresee a ton of the Ducks' next practice spent defending balls pushed to the corner.

17-7 Oregon, looks like we're headed to 5 sets Immediately after you typed this, Princeton won 4-of-5 points, and the only one of the five that Oregon won was a Princeton service error. But then Oregon won 4-of-5 points right back.

I foresee a ton of the Ducks' next practice spent defending balls pushed to the corner. Princeton coaching staff must have spotted it on video

Atta girl Brooke. This is the attacking mentality we've been waiting for.

Looking at the stats, this whole 4th set has been massive runs of points linked together.

They go in to this fifth set with Oregon having scored nine more points than Princeton over the first four sets.

Why did Oregon start a short set with Stone serving (and thus immediately leaving the court)?

Why did Oregon start a short set with Stone serving (and thus immediately leaving the court)? Gambling on them already being up when she checks back in so they can shut the door.. we'll see if that works.
