This is still the most absurd non-story to every create a controversy in volleyball. So dumb. "Culture other programs promote in their locker room"? Oh, come on. |

This year was a wash and very frustrating but moving on to the next season.
So anyways, next year we get back Borup, add a good DS, some depth on the OH with Laita healthy (hopefully) and a new fresh and have a free schollie for a late pick-up or someone off the portal. Will be interesting to see if a setter can win a 5-1 in the offseason or we stay in the 6-2.
I think it will be good for this group to be able to be underdogs and come in with a different set of expectations and pressure. We had a lot of freshmen on court this year who were starting to show some things at the end. Murphy, Bacon, Lewis, and Taylor W. really settled in by the end and should have big opportunities next season. Taylor B. only senior next year and Brooke the only junior, so will be leaning on them a lot for experience.

As far as next year goes, it's a bit of a mess left with the best players leaving. Nuneviller is the only decent player left, and two coming in are walk on status, but at least they can compete for a spot.
With that, unfortunately Oregon might be the bottom dweller with Oregon State for a while, until these freshman can get enough experience to be competitive.

Nuneviller is the only decent player left, and two coming in are walk on status, but at least they can compete for a spot. With that, unfortunately Oregon might be the bottom dweller with Oregon State for a while, until these freshman can get enough experience to be competitive. This year must have been wonderful for you considering all you want to do is trash the individual young women in the program. After a decade of predicting the players were all too terrible to make the tournament , you were finally right. Congratulations! |

Naw...it is just guessing, really. There WAS some pretty heavy trolling going on here (not by yours truly, btw). Having been an Oregonian for decades, that doesn't mean stick-one's-head-in-the-sand, or check one's brain at the door, to facilitate being in denial of something being obviously wrong in Eugene! Something IS rotten at Oregon. As others have said, start at the top!

And for you to act as if you have any inkling of what a programs culture is from that is absurd. Gee, I bet the Oregon faithful are thrilled to have you. Wild accusations, constantly demean and complaining about the team, negative about everything, even long before the team was having issues. Just such a joy. You must be a lot of fun at parties. |
