I think I mentioned this before.
I'm not gay but I love great dance numbers and spontaneous bursts into song in movies. They just seem so natural to me even when it's done poorly, see, e.g., the entire middle section of La La Land. Is there a place for non-gay lovers of musicals in this world?

Maybe someday there will be a musical video game where the zombies burst into song and dance!!!!

I was just going to say that the only musical with zombies was Michael Jackson's Thriller video but after a quick Google search, I discovered I was wrong. There have been many musicals (off-Broadway, film) with zombies. I'm just not familiar with them.
As for musicals in video games, it could work.

Tony Awards were kinda blah this year, in my opinion. The only show that interested me was My Fair Lady.
The Bands Visit was the big winner. But the song that was performed was meh. I do love Tony Shaloub.

i've been thinking this morning about what is my favorite musical i've ever seen. i think right now 'a gentleman's guide to love and murder' occupies my #1 spot followed by (in no particular order) wicked and jesus christ superstar. I was out of town when Guide to Murder came here. Wanted to see it. My faves are: 1. Wicked Then (in no order) would see again: Hairspray Beautiful Mamma Mia Hamilton Come From Away Hello Dolly Then ( seen multiple times, but probably won’t see again) Le Mis Phantom Joseph Beauty and the Beast

My husband has a rich client with an airplane. He flew us to Las Vegas Tuesday to see Hamilton. Enjoyed, and understood, a whole lot more this 2nd time. Lin Manuel is one talented guy.
I could get used to private plane trips. His plane is at a hanger 15 minutes from my house. Parked our car in the hanger, took off 10 minutes later. It was a 10 seater plane, and the ride was pretty smooth. Pretty sweet.

Trying to remember all the professional musicals I've seen.
National touring production of Guys & Dolls in 1992. San Jose Civic Light Opera production of Chess in 1993 (I think that was the year). Original Broadway production of Sondheim's Passion in 1994. That was odd because one of the stars was topless.
That's about it. I saw a play once with an operatic theme (Master Class about Maria Callas) and there was music. Not sure if it was a musical though. The star was Rita Moreno, but she didn't sing.

Never been there. Been to Gateway a lot, when I was doing test flights. Pretty cool little airport. Fun museum. For his 50th birthday, I gave my husband a ride in a WWII bomber, and it took off from there. There is also a helicopter plant nearby.
