Never been there. Been to Gateway a lot, when I was doing test flights. Pretty cool little airport. Fun museum. For his 50th birthday, I gave my husband a ride in a WWII bomber, and it took off from there. There is also a helicopter plant nearby. I was at a local airshow where a historical aircraft group was giving out free rides to kids in a WWII era aircraft. I think it was a transport, but it had a corrugated metal fuselage. Thought of letting my kid ride except the wait was going be pretty long. It wasn't like a big military style airshow, but the Coast Guard had one of their rescue helicopters there. I've driven by another airport that says they have free rides for kids once a month.

Also a fan of musicals (and theater in general). Unfortunately, I've never seen any on Broadway.
Focusing on touring productions, I've seen the following:
Evita (Milwaukee) A Chorus Line (Phoenix) My Fair Lady (Phoenix) Phantom of the Opera (Toronto) West Side Story (Cleveland) Cats (Cleveland) Jesus Christ Superstar (Cleveland) Rent (Cleveland)
I'm sure I'm leaving some out.
And, I'm seeing Hamilton on Friday (which is how I stumbled across this thread).

I have three daughters that are Hamilton fanatics. So, fortunately I’m very familiar with it - I’ve listened to the entire show at least 20 times. It really is brilliant. My two youngest are at the show at this very moment with their grandparents. I’m taking my oldest daughter Friday.

My two youngest are at the show at this very moment with their grandparents. I’m taking my oldest daughter Friday. How was Hamilton? It really was fantastic. As I said before, I'd heard the music many times, but it's just so much more powerful to see it. The staging of some of the numbers was incredibly creative -- most notably Satisfied and the final duel. I had wondered how they would stage the "rewind" part of Satisfied, and I was certainly not disappointed. And the staging/performance of It's Quiet Uptown was just devastating/amazing. Overall, the staging was fantastic. I far prefer scenery and staging that is more suggestive than literal, and I loved the things they did in this area. A great example for me was the letter Washington sent to Hamilton to call him back to take command -- the way they delivered the letter. Fantastic. And I loved how they used the ensemble so extensively in the show -- they were incredible and really added to the show. I also got to talk to the lighting operator for a few minutes and he showed me their system and how he runs the show. It was a treat for me because as much as I like the performances, I also really like the nuts and bolts of how shows run.

Agree with everything you said, We went with a couple whose son had committed suicide. It’s Quiet Uptown produced sobs. Unimaginable is the perfect word to describe what they are going through. If you haven’t already, look up Kelly Clarkson’s cover. Lin Manuel Miranda is a genius.
