I'll list two:
*Dead fish *Spike the kitten
Anyone else have some (un)favorites?
(Try hard. I know you all can avoid the obvious joke here.)

Agree on dead fish. Never heard of spike the kitten. Not a fan of butterfly drills. So so boring. I want to punch myself in the face when I see it on a practice plan.

Some years ago, I heard that "wall sits" and volleyball don't mix. Something about deadening the elasticity of the muscles. Haven't seen much more of that research but do see a lot of "wall sits," being done. Any insights?

According to some, you can add two-man pepper to the list.

Curtain over the net drill. Curtain over the net, coach on one side team on the other. Coach hits down ball at the team forcing team to react. Dumbest drill ever. when the curtain came out practice was essentially over. We would position 1 player on his hands and knees and watch where the coaches feet were pointing and point in that direction so the defender didn't have to react.

Continued. We hated the drill but really hated the coach. He just wasn't very smart. This was a D1 college coach! Unbelievable!

Hitting lines... Coach setting +1 Dumbest. Drill. Ever. And I will add having the coach toss, underhand, to the setter to set, while the attackers sit outside the court waiting to just hit.

Any Drill that intentionally practices the pancake, especially partner drills where one partner tosses the ball a few feet in front of the other who has to time the ball for a pancake. Have literally seen girls try to pancake and get hit in the upper arm as a result of this drill.

According to some, you can add two-man pepper to the list. I was going to say pepper! Depends on the type of pepper.

Sounds like the players were lazy.
