Sounds like Brittany Howard will finish her beach volleyball career at Pepperdine next year, according to current Pepp players. U of San Francisco MB Madison Murtagh is transferring to USC. That was done before Gilad Doron left for Dartmouth - but you have to think there may be others to follow now that Doron has left and a new coach has not yet been hired. Yes and some recruits WILL look to leave. Do you have any insight to which recruits would be leaving? |

Detering could have started on Florida this upcoming season, i guess she didn't want to compete with Huskey.... Or am I missing something? |

Gators also have Allie Monserez on the roster who redshirted last year after transferring from South Carolina. |

If it was playing time, go to a smaller program and be the starter. I don't see Detering playing at all at PSU. |

If it was playing time, go to a smaller program and be the starter. I don't see Detering playing at all at PSU. The new flavor of the month had arrived at Gainesville and Detering WISELY moved on. Competition is ON in South Gym. Have at it ladies. 6 setters and about 20 DS's.  1st and 2nd contacts clearly are the hot commodities. |

There is a link on the front page to her transfer. Sorry meant positions, but pretty much one added in each position I think. |

You really think that Russ Rose accepted the transfer with the intention of not playing her? |

This makes me believe RR did not feel passing was the primary cause of setting issues last season. I doubt Detering would leave Florida where she was on scholarship to transfer to another program and not be on scholarship and if she left Florida over concerns of play time then she must feel confident she will have better opportunity to play at PSU. This should make for a very interesting competition over the summer.
