Nah - I'm still upset about the football game. Besides, you weren't looking for one of those special "Berkeley Brownies" were you?
Eh, football sucks. Berkeley brownie? Um... I don't think so. I just prefer the chocolate kind.

Where are the exclamation points?! HOW ABOUT THE ALL CAPS?! Show some excitement how about!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I didn't want to jinx them. I thought I'd play it cool until the fat lady sang. So that now that it's over...... Here are the words to the USC fight song as interpreted by former Cal QB Mike Pawlaski. IT'S THE ONLY SONG YOU KNOW IT'S BORING AND IT'S SLOW IT'S REALLY GOT TO GO

Actually, I learned it (from two parental UCLA alums) as:
Time out, for U$C They have to pay, the referee The ends, won't play Unless they get, a raise in pay A raise in pay hey hey A raise in pay
Hey BC, do you want my version of the Berkeley fight song? ;D
Oh, and Go Bears!

How exciting!!! That is just awesome! I guess if CAL could only win one match this weekend it should be against the higher placed team. I wonder how Stanford will fare against UCLA?

Nah - I've heard of many bastardized versions of "The Big C", starting with that most heinous ripoff by UCLA.

I don't know if Cal managed to contain USC's middles or if they just had bad nights. USC was led by Keao Burdine with 16 kills (hitting .238) and 5 digs. Stacy Venski had 11 kills (hitting .346). Seilhamer and Florian had 13 digs each. Freeburg and Dillon had 20 and 24 assists respectively.
Cal was led by Gabrielle Abernathy with 18 kills (.325 hitting) and 7 digs. Angie Pressey had 14 kills (.267 hitting) and 18 digs. Camille Leffall had 10 kills (.318 hitting) and 5 blocks. Libero Jillian Davis had 18 digs. Samantha Carter led all players with 47 assists on the night.
Cal outhit USC in every game. My calculator says that Cal outdug USC 57 to 45. Cal outblocked USC 12.5 (a triple block somewhere?) to 4 (that can't be right!!??).

OK - let's bring out that abacus.
Cal hasn't beaten USC since Nov 15, 1991.
USC hasn't been swept since losing at Arizona in 2001. All their losses have been in 5 games since losing in 4 at Stanford in 2001.

OK - for anyone who is taping this match on Fox Sports Pacific, I will pay (or trade) for a VHS copy of this match.
