Both FIU (LSU) and Georgia State (FAU) were upset last weekend. They both go to LSU this weekend to try and rebound.

Florida State beat UCLA this morning so they'll probably flip-flop in the poll. UCLA still has Arizona this weekend and FSU will have USC/LMU, I believe.

Does DIG plan on actually updating their poll? AVCA poll is now like this:
1 Pepperdine 4-0 2 Florida State 9-0 3 Southern California 5-2 4 UCLA 4-3 5 Hawai'i 3-3 6 Long Beach State 1-5 7 Arizona 5-1 8 Georgia State 8-1 9 Stetson 9-1 10 Florida International 5-2

How often do they update their website? Wait, LBSU is 1-5, and still #6? Well, I guess they are below all the teams they lost to. Just looks weird.

LBSU lost to the first 5 teams, and they lost to USC and UCLA 2-3 with the last match going to 3.

Starting in about ten days, Hawaii, UCLA, and USC will be going to the East Coast, so we will get a good idea who belongs where in the polls. Long Beach St does not, so they need to step it up out West in several rematches if they want to make it to Alabama.

Didn't want to start another thread just for it, but does anyone know what teams are playing in the USAV Collegiate Challenge in Hermosa Beach in April? I know USC/UCLA/Pepperdine/LBSU/USF, but anyone else? Anybody coming in from up north or back east?

Isn't the minimum '8 duals'; counted by occurring on 8 separate dates? Basically, yes. 8 dates - 3 must be duals, other 5 can be duals or tournaments. Against 4 year institution varsity teams. For a tournament to qualify as a contest, it must culminate in the determination of a winner based on the performance of each institution’s five, two-person teams. So, Nebraska's schedule might actually meet the NCAA minimum, if nothing gets cancelled. MoBap match will count toward minimum although it is not a varsity team, since there is still an exception to count playing 1 club team per year. I thought this exception was going away as Beach left emerging sport status, but I guess not. Hawaii pairs tournament might also count, depending on format/scoring.. Correction - Nebraska vs MoBap will NOT count toward NCAA minimum, for a different reason - brought up on another thread. The match was played at Nebraska, which only has 1 court and is an indoor sand court. NCAA rules require Beach matches to be outdoors and a two court minimum. So Nebraska schedule will not be make them eligible for NCAA, as Cook himself points out in a recent article on their website.

Seven schools will compete in this year's tournament, including: Concordia, Long Beach State, Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, San Francisco, UCLA and USC
