Easy hater. they played the best team in the world as the visiting team and took a beating although a respectable one. Alison and Bruno will beat teams a lot worse than that. The best thing Casebeer & Olsen have going for them, is they are probably in better playing shape than the Italians in their pool. I think the Mexico team is playing well this season, and they have played pretty well in 2016. Back to earth. Casebeer/Olsen get stomped by Alison/Bruno 11,13

Boy, Theo is absolutely playing terrible. In the last 10 points played, I've seen him get blocked twice, hit out, shank 2 serve receives. down 16-11 in 2nd set. How has Rosie looked? I am curious I thought that team would have been better. I wonder if it's a chemisty issue or one of them not pulling their weight.

Casebeer/Olsen get stomped by Alison/Bruno 11,13 I don't care who they lost to, 11-13 is an embarrassing loss. I like their gumption but Casebeer/Olson are not an international caliber team unless both have made drastic improvements from last year.

Theo got served with nick but still won. I get what you are saying, but Theo just did not look good. He'd try and shoot line, and got easily swatted twice while I was watching, didn't move for an ace. I'm not one to stick up for Rosey, but in this match, I'm not sure what anyone could have done with Theo. To be honest, I didn't think the Canadian team played all that well either. I'll try to watch if they are on again today.

I wonder what's going on with Pedro/Evandro.
Lost first match, about to lose set three of second match to Italy, just switched sides down 9-1...

I wish they would break them up, they always seem mad. I'd like to see Evandro/Guto and Pedro/Saymon.

And his defense is atrocious. Any shot goes down. If he could serve that way and then get to the net, he and Bruno should play together, although his offensive consistency is not quite there yet.

Not worth breaking up the best team in the world I think.
Guto seems pretty comfortable playing left, so Evandro can stick with the right if he wants.

Very slow start of the year for USA women. No teams left except WalRoss. Very sad when we cannot even get out of pool play.

WR barely snuck by Humana-Paredes/Pischke CAN ( a team just up from the juniors a year or two ago). FS have not found their stride and with those scores seem to be lost to find their rhythm. Not sure why KD didn't fair so well either. It is early in our season so hopefully teams will be in their grooves soon.
The way the college system has played out those athletes will be useless to the USAV program until graduation or early departure, which hasn't panned out too well for Summer.
I predict the landscape will be much different the next quad.

Did you see the temperature in Rio? 97 degrees and feels like 111 degrees with the humidity. How brutal is that for the players!!
