Nice to see her do well. I think Brooke's issue, besides that the Finns may be better than their ranking, is she has to be at the top of her game all the time or she cant side out etc. Something a 6 ft player could work through, Brooke cant

Yeah tough for someone her height. (Brooke)She defiantly has to be on top of her game. I still think her eating could be better. I assume her conditioning is good?
On another note even tho they lose is there such a thing as a good lose for mark burik? The team they lost to is solid! I didn't think it would be that close. I assume they served burik every ball

Mark burik loses in 3 to Poland who beat Phil and Rosie. Anther good lose. Lol. I'm still surprised he's losing close matches to really good teams. Good for him.

One thing I like about Mark is he never seems intimidated. Nice to see he is having some almost success. Thats a rough pool. Sean/Theo win two in a row against good teams. the only way they can salvage this is to get whipped in the first round against scrubs

Two quality wins.

Two quality wins. I've def. given some of the crap to those too, but really do want them to succeed. Mark & Tri should beat the team they face next, to get out of pool. I hope Mark writes about this experience, I've enjoyed his couple of articles on avp.com.

Brunner/Rosenthal lose in 3 to a low Brazilian team. Theo making lots of hitting errors to lose it.

Was checking out Phil's twitter to see about the injury (calf problem) and saw him say "5th place for us, not great not bad." Can anyone picture that coming from Karch, Stokie, Steffes? Maybe its just a different era, but I think that speaks to why Phil may not have reached 100% of his potential. (Odd thing to say about the best player since Karch)

I don't think in anyway he was saying 5th place, not too shabby
