I am expecting a 3-0 blowout for US against China. Anything less and I will be disappointed.
Yes, as some have said, China can still be dangerous. But I don't think Karch & Co is going to drop the ball in the last match of pool B. They want to come out strong.
So, what will be the margin of victory for the US vs China match?

I'm guessing we win in 4. We still seem prone to having one bad streak in a match although we do a great job of refocusing and moving past our stretches of uneven play

3:05 Central / 4:05 Eastern / 1:05 Pacific.
I'm really excited for this match.

I don't think the match result is in serious doubt (US win).
The question is how the US will win.

China will sweep USA easily. Hehehe. Lets see if you are right on that. But if I would place my chips with the US.

China is going to place fourth in the pool regardless, because they can't catch Serbia in set ratio. I wonder what lineup JLP is gonna bring out today?

I expect that Kim Hill will definitely be in the starting lineup despite being subbed out when we were down in the last match, but wondering if Karch will also put Murphy back in to start?

I don't think its likely, but with the order of the pool more or less set, will the US save their top players for the upcoming match? It makes no difference if the US win or lose against China now. I am guessing Karch will still want to beat China to maintain a positive vibe (and frankly I think US can beat China without top players).

I will say it again. This is a weak tournament. The last 3 Olympics for sure had stronger teams. WTH has happened to China. Their team that won gold would beat any of these teams. Netherlands seems like only team on the rise these days. Mediocre competition. Go 'Merica!

Based on my understanding of the tiebreakers, if we lost in 3 or 4 today Holland wins the pool. So have to win or at least make it to 5.
I think we have a strong preference to play Japan over Korea.

And if we don't win pool there's the possibility of a quarterfinal matchup with Russia on the same side of the draw as Brazil. It's very important for us to get two sets, but Karch could theoretically put in subs after we've done that.

So what line-up do you expect Karch to have for the coming match?

So what line-up do you expect Karch to have for the coming match? I expect the same starting seven that we've seen the entire tournament. If we win two sets, I wouldn't be surprised to see Dietzen, Robinson, Lowe, and Lloyd put in
