This has to be the best 10 seconds in all of sports. I am hoping Bolt gets his third, gifted athlete.

Bolt was looking side to side at the 60 meters mark and coasted home. I do not think anyone is beating him.

Still the best 10 seconds in sports. Bolts a bad dude. And he started slow too I might add, before catching up to Gatlin in the last ten meters. That's the thing with Bolt, he often doesn't have the best start, but he makes up for that with unbeatable acceleration.

At the 70 meter mark I thought there was a chance he might lose......then he put it into 5th gear and crushed the field in last 10 meters.
I hope he wins the 200 as well.

So...is there still any question that Bolt is the greatest 100m sprinter? I don't think so.
Seriously, Gatlin at 34 is done after this Olympics. He gave it his best, but Bolt is in a class of his own...again.

Bolt holds his top speed (40 meter mark) longer then his competitors.

Greatest track star in generations. Maybe Jesse Owens. Don't even put Carl Lewis in with this guy. Lewis never broke world records. Usain broke all three multiple times.

Gatlin is a great sprinter, he just ran into the greatest of all time.
