If I'm a committee member right now, these would be my seeds: 1- Nebraska 2- Winner of the Minneosta/Wisconsin match 3- Loser of the Minnesota/Wisconsin match 4- Texas 5- Kansas 6- UCLA (assuming they win v UW) 7- BYU 8- Florida 9- Michigan State 10- Stanford 11- Missouri 12- Washington (assuming they lose v UCLA) 13- North Carolina 14- Utah (assuming an Arizona win) 15- San Diego 16- Western Kentucky/Creighton/Michigan/Kentucky Florida only has 4 Top 50 wins, none over a Top 10 team and went 0-2 versus Mizzou and Kentucky. Their RPI is quite high but I would be surprised to see them at #8, particularly ahead of Mizzou. Kentucky has more or less locked down a seed at this point, H2H over Creighton, they have enough Top 25 wins and they are quite conveniently located. San Diego has 3 good wins, but hasn't beaten a Top 50 team since September and took two pretty poor losses in the past two weeks. Those normally wouldn't be disqualifying, but with how the committee has emphasized play down the stretch in recent years I think they tell a bad story with nothing on the good side of the ledger in recent memory. I actually intended to put Missouri 8 and Florida 11. You are probably right re kentucky, sans the geographic bonus.

Update coming tonight after the all important UCLA/UW match. luckily I don't work again til Sunday.
Also, When was the last time Wazzu beat UW twice the same season? Regardless of today's outcome, UW has a mid-day Friday tough match in Pullman

When was the last time Wazzu beat UW twice the same season? The Huskies lost six straight times to the Cougars from 1999-2001. They haven't lost twice to the Cougars in any year since then.

Weirdly, the football game is at 12:30pm Friday

frankly, I think Utah has a pretty good look at a seed. They have 4 top 25 wins, two of which are over non-conference seeded teams (BYU and Missouri) and all 4 of which (including Stanford and Oregon) are on the road! That's a better resume to me than Kentucky, Creighton, Kansas State, or Michigan. I agree on Utah. But Pablo has them losing to Arizona tonight and that would take their RPI out of contention. Actually Pablo has Utah winning even after giving the 160 HCA to Arizona.

Arizona dropped set one but has a big lead in set 2 against Utah.
SMU had a HUGE win over Temple today. Probably clinched a tournament bid for them. Cincinnati should get an at-large as long as they win their last game.

Well, never mind on Utah hosting. They have more top 25 wins than a lot of bubble-seed teams. I they would deserve it, but in a close call, why would the committee want two hosts in the state of Utah? I have to agree but not sure if they don't deserve it. How low was Kentucky's RPI when they surprisingly got seeded?

From the 2012 nitty gritty & selections, Utah might still have a chance to get seeded. They look like Utah, better than all of the teams below them and more top-25 victories than several teams in front of them
