I'll need to re-read your post later, IB. The Prozac hasn't kicked in yet.
Of course, the bright side is that there is NO chance of a transfer to Idaho.

Are there any freshman who won the conference Player of the year? If there is none, Pavan could be the first to do that. She could also be the first non Stanford player to win 4 first team all american title.

Are there any freshman who won the conference Player of the year? If there is none, Pavan could be the first to do that. She could also be the first non Stanford player to win 4 first team all american title. Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves here. All this talk about freshman of the year, player of the year, conference player of the year. The kid hasn't played an official game yet!! There are other players out there who may not be 6'5" and seemingly do it all, but can play to the best of their ability and that ability can be evident to everyone. Another thing to keep in mind when picking All Americans. There is no sure thing in this catagory. Though one would think it should be on individual merit alone, look at the former AA's who have dropped from a first AA to a second AA or a second AA to a third AA. It becomes apparent that the team's success is a factor as well. Perhaps exposure during the year is a factor?? Who knows what all is considered? Be sure there will be disappointments in the end. Just ask Eric Kahumoku. Results at award ceremonies are always suspect-- some are satisfied: some are disappointed.
