2020 recruit...lets say shes extremely raw. 6'3" lefty RS. Raw as a sophomore??? comparing to other Sophs??? I would expect a 6'3 soph to be somewhat raw and awkward.

"raw" might be an understatement. go watch her video. if you can get kids like Haley, not sure why you reach for this kid. If you are referring to this video: www.hudl.com/video/3/7116952/5721dff590eead5d90e96dceShe looks like a Freshman, surrounded by freshman teammates. on those highlights, she moved well, understood what was going on. Raw is an ok adjective for a freshman. Potential is there. She already has D1 height, just needs to physically mature.

She looks very inexperienced but she's got long limbs, tall, moves quickly albeit awkwardly. She plays for the same club that produced Carli Snyder, I don't see why you wouldn't take a chance on this kid.

Ā Florida is in the position to not have to "take chances" on kids. Or they have enough faith in MEVBA and themselves to be great at developing her. Would you like to point out the other 6'3 lefty sophomore opp's Florida is passing up?

Her struggles with the approach are kind of hiding the fact that this kid moves really well for someone that tall with that kind of length. If you have someone at the position you know will be very good, it makes sense to use the schollie on someone who is a project but could turn out to be great.

In her defense Wise has a history of taking on projects and making them good. Why should this young lady be any different? But on the other hand why go there if you do not have to. Although Warner wasn't as tall as she is at this age she was more athletic. But she was not 6ft 3in either.

Right, there's no reason to believe this kid is going to be a dud.

1. Almost all of the recruits are "take a chance" recruits because we recruit quite young. They change so much between 8th grade and college.
2. Very few programs don't have to take any chances recruiting, maybe Texas but even they have to take a chance sometimes. You can't always get the top recruits. In the context of recruiting, Florida is not Texas.

Even more excited about the season that starts in 4 days! Gator fans, or not, other than the predictions already made and posted about UF's record for the year, how do you think Florida does this season? Where do they finish in the SEC and where do they end their season?

Where do they finish in the SEC and where do they end their season? I still think UK takes the SEC this season but I see UF in second place. Then again, I said that last year and I put Mizzou in 3rd and look what happened. I am just hoping for an Elite 8 or Final 4 for Carli, Rhamat and CK. Pleaseeee. I also still think a lot rides on Joseph on the RS. If she can consistently deliver, then UF will be in good shape.
