I was just looking at it from the perspective of an athlete (King) who didn't play a whole lot her freshman season and appears to have had a good spring season, regardless of the competition. Everyone goes crazy over Nebraska and Wisconsin's spring matches and the players who did well for them, so why can't us UF fans do the same for our players without people having to counteract everything with an argument? Just let us be

Illinois fans were ecstatic about their new team and coach because they beat a SIU squad with 4 players on their spring roster and their entire coaching staff (SIU) left the next day. You'll fit right in with the Big10 fans you obviously "are not found of". I was just giving full color to the spring happenings at UF! No harm meant & Go Gators!

I was talking to a fellow Gator on a Gator thread and he mentioned Big 10 fans dilussion and I shared interactions I had with Illinois volleyball fans.

Update on Florida's spring matches... floridagators.com/news/2017/4/24/volleyball-senior-laden-gators-make-strides-in-spring-matches.aspxWhat stands out to me is Darrielle King's progression. I know it's just spring matches, but this is a pretty darn good stat line... "Rising sophomore Darrielle King's team-high .555 hitting percentage with 28 kills, the second-most by a Gator this spring, and just three errors on 45 total attacks. King also made an impact defensively with 14 total blocks, including six against Florida State." Also glad to see Carli and Rhamat picking up right where they left off. It seems Shainah did fairly well on the RS too. (UF played FSU, Georgia Tech and UCF btw) I'm not surprised by King whatsoever. Everyone knows she's second only to Alhassan. I'm just happy she's getting a chance to show her stuff. Glad Carli is going off this early. I see her as no less than Second Team All American after two honorable mentions in the past two years.

Not really quite sure where you can deduct that I "obviously despise" Big 10 fans when all I said was they are allowed to swoon over their players' performances in spring matches, so why can't fans of other teams. To me, that comes across delusional.

You took my original post on the subject completely out of context because you didn't want to acknowledge pertinent facts regarding your hitting numbers. I then explained myself and said no harm meant. Please see edit But swoon as you will Mr. Smartest Man in the room!

Really impressed by Florida's 2017 schedule. Lots of opportunities for a very strong RPI.
Pretty much all at home, but I think that's fair given the road warriors they've been in preseason the last 2 years and wanting to show off their remodeled facility. Lots of NCAA tournament teams and conference champs.
Texas Nebraska North Carolina - Puerto Rico NC State - Puerto Rico American Michigan State Florida State Lipscomb
Playing all the likely big names/NCAA teams in the SEC twice this year too.
@ Arkansas Tennessee Texas A&M Kentucky @ Kentucky @ Tennessee Arkansas Missouri @ Texas A&M @ Missouri
