I agree! Get to immerse yourself in the Star Wars realm was awesome. Imagine with the graphics nowadays would make the remake amazing. Imagine they will release it in PC, PS4 and other consoles format. Have you played KOTOR II? It was unfortunately rushed, but with the Restored Content Mod, I think it's arguably as good as the original. I honestly do not remember playing KOTOR II...but cannot think of why I didn't. Maybe it was a Steam release, or that I read back then that it would only be an online game that put me off. Maybe I'll look for it on Steam now, hopefully already updated with the mod.

HZD: I have finished the main Frozen Wilds questline. (There are still some fireclaws running around I'm supposed to kill. I may do that later.) I have all the cauldron overrides, all the bandit camps, all the tallnecks, and I think every available side quest or "errand" except the hunting lodge quest to go get "suns" at every hunting challenge so that I can get special lodge weapons, which I kind of find boring. The two big fights in the Frozen Wilds (daemonic thunderjaw, daemonic fireclaw) were certainly very tough, especially since they forced me to mainly just go in with my spear and blindly slash away. I did remember Wolfgang saying to dodge constantly, and that helped a little. I still (like in most games) prefer to snipe from cover. I believe I now have all possible allies, which will give me an achievement or something when they all come help me defend Meridian later? Something like that. I suppose it's time to go do the main questline. Something about "Deep Secrets Of The Earth". One thing that I found kind of disappointing is that after the start of the game where child-Aloy explores a ruin, I expected there to be more of these "story ruins". Instead, there were a few cauldrons (more platforming and battle arenas rather than exploration). A few of the main quests involved ruins, most notably the one where you have to climb to Ted Faro's office. But I kept expecting there would be more ruins like the first one, just places to explore that were not full of enemies. There were not.

You just go to the KOTOR page, and then there should be a "workshop" tab at the top. You then need to find the mod (I found it under "most subscribed") and hit the subscribe button. It should then download and install it automatically (which is nice--when I first did this, the installation process was more complicated). When you launch the game, it should say "The Sith Lords Restored Content Modification" right underneath where it says Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II. I just tested it.

Railroad Tycoon II
Playing a bit of this game and I’m on the next level up from easy. Playing to the end of “regulation”, and then playing beyond. One thing that’s kind of bugging me is the passenger and mail. I recall in the past I was able to expand the city with mail, passengers and industries popping up left and right...essentially building a mega-city.
Now, bubkus! Industries may pop up here and there, so would some of the resources. But not like before, specially the houses...not really growing the city at all.
Have to find out what I need to do to increase the chances of the passenger, mail and industries popping up more.

I think, IIRC, you need to supply food to get bigger cities. OK, just Googled this. People are saying (or were saying 10 years ago) that it's all just about covering their needs. If you cover their needs, they tend to grow. If you don't, they either stagnate or shrink. But there are random (or at least hidden) factors.

It has now gotten to the point where I don't even check the PlayStation store anymore for deals. I used to do it religiously.

I started playing Yakuza: Like a Dragon, which is my first foray into the Yakuza franchise (I bought Yakuza 0 a long time ago, but I've never played it). Unlike previous Yakuza games, this one has an English dub, and it also has a JRPG-style turn-based combat system instead of a more brawler system in previous games. It also has a new protagonist, so it's a good entry point for having not played the previous seven games. It's pretty fun so far. I haven't gotten any additional party members yet, and my skills are limited, so the battle system seems pretty basic at the moment, but I know it will expand more. The writing is good, though the voice acting is a bit spotty (definitely not on par with most modern AAA games, though it is serviceable). There's also a fair amount of dialogue that isn't voiced at all and is instead delivered via text and some grunts and other audio cues (very Zelda-esque).

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a great game, probably the best JRPG I've played since Final Fantasy XV at least and maybe the best since Final Fantasy X. The turn-based combat system is more dynamic than many turn-based systems that I've seen. Enemies and allies alike will move around the battlefield while you're deciding what to do, and if you time it right, you can catch enemies in an area attack, but if you mistime it, they'll move far enough apart that it's better to switch to a single-target attack. If you knock an enemy down, you can get a guaranteed critical hit with the next party member if you act fast enough, but they'll get up if you wait too long. You can also try to block enemy attacks during their turn, reducing damage by about half if you get it exactly right.
I now have four party members, though I can recruit three more later in the game (four can be in the active party). The four main characters are all written very well, and both they and some of the NPCs have interesting things to say about society in general, and this dialogue all feels quite natural and organic. There have been some genuinely moving story beats, as well as some laugh-out-loud ones. I have just unlocked the ability to change my party members' jobs (basically classes in this game), so I'm looking forward to trying out some new ones. I really can't say enough good things about this game. At this point, I think it will strongly challenge Ghost of Tsushima for my 2020 Game of the Year. They are completely different games, but they're both great at what they do.
