I am playing a new mod for Portal 2 called Portal Reloaded.
It's like a mix between Portal and that fun level from Dishonored 2 where you moved between timelines. Things you do in the earlier timeline affect things in the later timeline, but not vice versa.

Quit Lords Mobile
Just trying to advance myself with research and building, had guilds ask me to join but for the most part they left me alone. Then 3 members of one guild sent me an invitation while the fourth one launched a sneak attack and captured my leader. Takes the fun out of gaming.
Guess I’ll revert to Angry Birds or something like that.

I'm not sure if I'll have enough time to finish Dishonored before my PS Now membership expires, but I've seen enough that I'll probably buy the collection, which includes all three games, the next time it is heavily discounted. It's been at $18 in the PS Store several times in the last year.

Finished Portal Reloaded. Super fun for a free mod! (Well, free if you own Portal 2.)
I did check the internet for a few hints (primarily when I missed noticing some non-obvious portal surface). There were a couple of times when I just forgot to think "Portal" and missed something that should have been obvious. Almost all the puzzles were in that good range, though, where they felt hard enough to be satisfying but not so hard as to be frustrating.
The timeline swapping mechanism turned out to be really interesting, and the rules of how it worked generally guided you to the correct solution. For instance, if you move a "now" cube or "now" portal, it also moves a "future" cube or portal. But moving the "future" cubes and portals doesn't affect the "now" status. So if you needed two cubes, you had to be in the "now" and you had to place the "now" cube first. Then you could move the "future" cube into the "now" through the time portal and place in the second place you needed a cube.
There were even puzzles where you needed to place a cube, leave it there while you moved away, and then remotely unplace the cube. If you planned ahead, you could use the "future" cube for the placement, and have the "now" cube sitting where you were going to be when you needed the placed cube to be unplaced. Because as soon as you touched the "now" cube, the "future" cube would fizzle away.
Or consider this example:
In "now" I could generate a wall to block some turrets. But I needed two walls, and with only two portals I could only portal the wall one time, from where it was generated to one of the places I needed it. If I had a third portal it would have been trivial. But... I did have a third portal. The time portal. And that let me, essentially, control where the wall was being generated in the future. So in the future I could start the wall where I needed it, put a future portal at the end of it, and put another future portal where I needed the second wall. That let me get past the turrets. Then I could place another time portal and be back in "now" but on the correct side of the turrets.

Now that I finally have a PC again, I am attempting to get comfortable using mouse and keyboard instead of a controller fir games. I got both Portal games since I previously enjoyed them and I figured those would be perfect to learn with. I saw that mod but was a little worried about trying it since I tend to overthink everything and make things more complicated than they need to be.

After playing Portal Reloaded I saw lots of references to another Portal 2 mod called Portal Stories: Mel. I'm now playing PS:M.
It's pretty good. It's got better voice acting and significantly more developed story than Portal Reloaded, but it's missing the new time portal. Still, between the two of them together, it's almost like getting to play the so-far-nonexistent Portal 3.

I finished Portal Stories: Mel. It was quite good until the final boss battle, which was a timed thing where you had to use turrets to destroy banks of computers, but since the Portal turrets are intentionally prone to tipping over, it was very frustrating.
There was a bit too much platforming in the game. Portal should be about using portals to avoid platforming. I guess they were trying to deconstruct the instinct to always look for a portal surface rather than just jump a gap? Or maybe the devs just like platforming.
