Pepperdine won in 2 sets at the 2's, 4's and 5's to take the match over UCLA. McNamara's easily won at the 1's position and the 3's pairs were early in a third set when the match was called.

FSU knocks out UCLA.
Was mostly watching court 1, which turned out to be the determining match.
FSU was trailing almost entirely in the 3rd against the UCLA twins. At 12-13, FSU's serve rolls off the tape leading them to an easy transition point. This tied the set and gave FSU much needed momentum. If FSU missed that serve, it would have been back to back missed serves and UCLA would have had 2 points for the dual.

Frankly, that's a very, very disappointing showing from ucla, going from taking down USC last week to getting bounced out of the contender's bracket in Gulf Shores.

USC handles Pepp 3-0. Trojans haven't really been challenged in any match so far. And the team that matches up best with them (UCLA) is already out. Things setting up nicely for SC, but it's not like they can count on a cakewalk in the final.

It was amazing for the entire dual to come down to such an epic battle of the 5's, who aren't used to having the spotlight on them. Both teams played great and would have been deserving whichever way it played out.
