It was amazing for the entire dual to come down to such an epic battle of the 5's, who aren't used to having the spotlight on them. Both teams played great and would have been deserving whichever way it played out. Especially consiserining it was the #5s, I thought for sure the nerves would get one of the teams. But it was well-played and it seemed like it could go forever.

There has been a ton of drama, comebacks, close matches, duals decided by 3-set matches...makes for a tremendously entertaining tournament to watch and follow.

Would Sarah not consider the AVP so she could play with Kerri? That's an awful lot to ask.

Wow at that FSU/Hawaii match. Guess UCLA peaked too soon.

That Hawaii/Florida State game had me on the edge of my seat. It would hard to see them lose since they were up 2-0. But credit FSU for fighting back in almost all flights. Pepperdine holds the 2-1 series over Hawaii this year but it should be a good match-up.

If USC loses to whomever they are playing in the final, does USC get a second chance?

If USC loses to whomever they are playing in the final, does USC get a second chance? No. Whoa, that's a game-changer. I thought it would be double-elimation the whole way through. Am I the only one who thinks that's unfair to USC? Softball and baseball NCAA would run a second game on championship day.

Softball and baseball NCAA would run a second game on championship day. Hmmm ... that is interesting you see it that way. Guess it's double elimination until the final. Since the other team had to fight through the loser's bracket maybe. But what would you suggest - a golden set? Like one final set that determines the winner. So potentially in the championship match, if the winner's bracket team loses, one more final set to decide? (which would satisfy the 2 losses). But that would kind of be unfair since coming from the consolation bracket, those teams had to play in to face the winner's bracket team. That could potentially be a lot of volleyball.

Pepperdine wins the first set on four of five courts. Top three pairs were close but Pepperdine pulled away. Flight four Hawaii dominated and then Pepperdine dominated court five
