Piotr was signed up originally for the last AVP, and then came off. Hope he stays on this week. That's kinda big news if he does. I assume if he makes it in main he signs then plays nvl when it comes up? Makes sense he stays with the AVP, since his wife has a pretty high seeded partner in Kendra.

DiCello/Stockman are listed in the FIVB Q AND the AVP. The Q is on Wednesday, so if they don't get in, they should be fine for play on Friday in TX.
interesting that Ross/Sweat are on the BVBinfo list, and not the AVP.

On the AVP site, Priddy and McKibbin have received a Wild Card into the MD, jumping Rat/Zaun.

I believe last year Piotr was not able to play AVP, due to citizenship. Now that he is married, no problems to play AVP I believe?
Tough one for Zaun/Rat. Almost beat two very good teams in Huntington, but sorry, stay in that quali. I do get the other side though, where the only win they got was a forfeit.

I talked to Piotr in HB he had/has a broken finger so he couldn't play.

Priddy is the closest thing to a male star that wasn't already a main draw player. If he can get in the mix expect to hear "gold medal" ad nauseam. Seems like this was probably a pretty easy decision. Plus the McKibbens have a gimmick people seem to like (the beard thing)

Interesting tidbits, Jace Pardon(12th seed) has more points than 9 players that are seeded above her.
Ed Rat (Q1 seed) has more points than 7 MD players.

Should be a good qualifier too. More teams than were at HB.

Should be a good qualifier too. More teams than were at HB. Good as in competitive, but the HB had more talent. 3 teams in the Q at HB are in the MD in Austin. Olson and Shalk are also not in the Q.

Agree, 3 out of 4 pools in the HB qualifiers were won by the one seed. With the big field in Austin, we might see more upsets than that.

SummerSweat is listed in Austin. No longer listed......any chance that one or both is injured?

At HB, we had 4 wins by qualifiers (1 men, 3 women). What is the over/under this week? 3.5?
