The Piotre conversation had me do some quick math. Barring any upsets, he would match up with Q52 Berning,Olds. Then Q20 Lesniak,Shavit, then Q4 Drake, Liers, and finally Q5 Martinez,Sauter. What do we think of this road?

In that 4-5 bracket II would be surprised if Piotr and Raffe don't get in. As far as qualifiers go, this one is obviously a bit weaker than most. That being said, anything can happen in a one and done format, but they are clearly favorites in that bracket if that draw stands up.
The 3-6 matchup should be the most interesting. The young bucks vs lotman and parra could be a good matchup. Maybe a slighttttt edge to Parra? I haven't seen the young guys play at all really.
The 1-8 bracket Zaun/Rat will likely cruise through.
The 2-7 bracket is up in the air, I didn't figure out who the lower seeds will be, but that bracket could be primed for a deeper seeded team to make a run.

I can't bring up the womens list. Is it just me? VB1987, that 2,7 quadrant quarters will be 2v31, 15v18, 10v23, 7v26.. Just subtract those seeds from 65 to get opening matches.

Anything can happen, but my money is on the young guys. They have momentum from HB.

On the AVP site, Priddy and McKibbin have received a Wild Card into the MD, jumping Rat/Zaun. Pretty crappy of them. In HB I watched Priddy & McKibbin lose convincingly to a couple of ERat's trainees.

I don't mind the use of the WC, and I think its a positive thing generally, but I would like to see a prohibition on bumping the same team twice, so if Ed is in 12th when the next one is given the 11th seed team would get sent to the qualifier

BVBinfo was giving me trouble earlier. Seems ok now. Not sure how up to date it is.

Pri and Salgado lose in the qualifier again (last week separately, this week together) Astounding, especially because they didn't even make the play in game. I guess we know who has not been training this winter

Men's 50 seed takes out the 2 seed in 2. Wow.

Men's 50 seed takes out the 2 seed in 2. Wow. I don't know Miller, but Brett Ryan is son of Florida legend Mike Ryan. He's been a solid player for years, just never really went all in on Beach. Just picture maybe a bit more athletic Van Zwieten brother with a tan. Buehring / McCarthy may have run out of gas after the 3 setter against Dana. Only the 1 seed held their bracket on the men's side, and only the 2 seed on the women's, just like most of us thought. A 4 match day is a pretty long day of Vball. Hopefully these teams have something in the tank for the MD.

I noticed they gave ERat/Zaun their 12 seed back instead of putting them at 13 as a qualifier.
Anyone know why Lotman/Parra forfeited?
