Should we give Whitney more credit? Yeah April is good but Whitney gets served all day!!! She won a lot with Jenny also. And a win with Kerri. For some reason the really good players keep picking her up If you watched any matches she played in this weekend or last then no you wouldnt give her any credit. She is terrible. Playing with Kerri she managed to consistently lose to Summer Day. With April she lost several games by 10 or more points. With a top two player in the world

Rosie Crabb plays like a very nervous team. They seem to play tight in moments, even in games they won. Feels like they play to not lose than to win the game. I've grown to really like Lucenas game. Dude is just salty and when the game starts to mean a little more he just seems to play a little harder than everyone else. His personality really has been a yang to phils yin.

With a top two player in the world She's probably on the downside of her career, but I thought she was solid today. Had some stretches where she couldn't side out, but her defense was decent and even had a couple blocks. Nice to see her win with what was likely her last event with April, even if it was a weak field. I though Schuermann was joking when he said Pavlik won Best Offensive Player last year, but bvbinfo confirms it. Schuermann also introduced April as two-time Olympic Gold Medalist as well. Oops.

She definitely used to be a solid player, I just think her time is past now. Whitney as best offensive player last year is a joke. Her high finish was 5th. Given that and the partners she gets, she must have an incredible personality.

With a top two player in the world Sometimes you got really frustrated with Whit especially when blocking, but. And not her game. Sometimes siding out was rocky, but all in all she played pretty well. Especially since both of them are defensive players! Cool to see them win this one!

Beach volleyball yes is a team sport but each player has to carry your own load. Yeah one player can make up a little for the other i.e. Kerri, April Phil etc but I find it hard to believe she's terrible. Does that mean like top 10 player on avp at that event or worse? I'm not defending her I just can't find a real good reason to say she's not a pretty good player maybe around that 5-10th rank women's player at that event?

I dont want to keep knocking Whitney, because she seems nice and I was a fan of her team with Jenny Kropp, but I dont think there is anyway she is top 10. I'd say she is a little worse than last year - when her match record was below .500

Flint and Larsen certainly weren't better. Not sure what their deal was but rather a really bad tournament for those 2.

I think if Whitney had a partner equally as good as she is but a blocker, they would finish 9th or 13th every week. Even with the missing teams I think Whitney is in the bottom half. Thats based on how everyone played last week. If we are going generally based but only including teams from this week Fop/Reeves Bensend/Urango Larsen/Flint Stockman/Dicello Kendra Are all definitely better

Pavlick was better than id say half these teams. Definitely larsen/flint who were pretty bad. Outside of maybe 2 games that I saw, pavlick was pretty solid in austin.

They lost four games and she was playing with April so hard to say she wasn't poor in at least those four. On a more positive note, up until the last two games of the final, I was really impressed with Stockman. She played flawless volleyball and it looked to me like she got a little tired and maybe the moment caught up to her. Easily the best I have ever seen her play

I saw a few games and April made some mistakes. Seems she was trying to hard and not just letting Whitney do her thing
