The whole "those two teams aren't from our conference so we aren't going to stream them" is crap. The Longhorn Network is streaming Denver and Minnesota next week. And Denver/TAMUCC. Go look at the BTN2Go schedule for tomorrow: www.btn2go.com/schedule?sids=WVB. Lots of non-B1G match-ups. Everyone should email the DOVO, Kim Williams, at kwilliams@athletics.tamu.edu until they make it happen.

Without Lutz, Stanford stands little to no chance IMO. It would make sense to rest her until the next PSU matchup, if she's not 100% ready to go yet. Even with their service pressure and Hentz patrolling the back court, Frantti/Lee>McClure/Keefe by a considerable amount and PSU's MBs are better than Stanford's too. With Lutz back in the lineup, it takes a little pressure off of Plummer and McClure potentially, while having a strong RS block and an improved LS attack w/ Plummer there. I may be selling Keefe, McClure, and Alade and Stanford too short though. I can see the game being competitive without lutz (if stanford serves and defends well, and brings enough terminating power) but the nittany lions are more experienced than this stanford team

I don't think I've ever met a "Stan" that I liked.

Can Washington hit in front of the setter yet, or she still a one trick pony?

Can Washington hit in front of the setter yet, or she still a one trick pony? I didn't see many last year in Boulder, but that slide attack is devastating. Put that against a McClure or Keefe block, and it will score. So it is just a question of how often State can run it.

Eh let's not beat a dead horse. No stream of a top 5 matchup is embarrassing.
Honestly I don't know didn't PSU play Frantti limited in opening weekend? If Lutz is out this gets harder for Stanford but on paper they have the edge in a few positions notably setter and libero. Should be an interesting match surprised they decided to play twice in the preseason.

Without Lutz, Stanford stands little to no chance IMO. Youre right. I remember last season Stanford did not win the Pac-12 and were lucky to get a #8 seed in the play-offfs.

Some of you will never understand how conference networks work. SECN has 14 schools to cover. Right now, soccer and women's volleyball are underway. SEC has no vested interest to stream the PSU/Stanford match; perhaps these schools should have negotiated that with A&M before they agreed to play the match in College Station; doubt it matters to them, either.
Neither the BTN or PACN have the rights to this match as it on the campus of an SEC school. Neither is part of ESPN's family of networks.

Dear Volleyball Fans;
We understand that this is one of the premier match-ups of the pre-conference season, and we know you're dying to watch it, even if it's a one-camera stationary, no-audio feed. We get that.
However, go F yourself.
Sincerely,
Head Volleyball Muckety-Muck.

We are not asking SECN to broadcast this match. We are asking Texas A&M to provide a stream.

PSU needs this match more than Stanford, and therefore they'll win! 1. They haven't beat a top team for quite some time. 2. I am not usually a pessimistic fan, but after this season PSU might not win a set against Stanford for years. But most importantly, 3. Even PTW is picking on PSU! PSU was consistently ahead through last night, then BOOM! Stanford now seems destined to be the pick in this week's PTW. Hmmm... many who voted in this thread's poll probably forgot to read the memo.

No stream of a top 5 matchup is embarrassing. I am shocked that Pac-12 network is passing on this. the pac-12 network has no right to stream this. this is 100% on Texas A&M if the SEC network passes on its right to broadcast.
