The axe has fallen on the head of snake in Texas... St. Mary's? They're the Rattlers. What other TX schools have a snake mascot?

I'll be curious too see if the Corbelli's will survive again at A&M . . .

If true that' a one and done and I see only the assistant currently listed who is also in her first year there taking them to the conference tournament. rattlerathletics.com/coaches.aspx?path=wvball

I think she has been gone for awhile. The assistant coached the team and did a good job.

Also surprising with a 17-11 record, 9-3 in conference. More to the story?

I'll be curious too see if the Corbelli's will survive again at A&M . . . 25 years in Aggie land, 2 years removed from region and conference COY and only the 2nd losing season in 7 years. Wasn't last year a senior-heavy team? I think she writes her own ticket out of town when she is ready.

Wasn't last year a senior-heavy team? I think she writes her own ticket out of town when she is ready. As a Texas fan, I hope she stays there forever. Only one Elite 8 trip in those 25 years, and maybe 3 or 4 Sweet 16 appearances. Eventually, an AD has to decide how determined they are to have a successful program. She's survived like 5 different ADs, I think.

Also surprising with a 17-11 record, 9-3 in conference. More to the story? Mascot in the grass? My understanding is no, always a possible, but this may have been a Memphiesqe kind of thing sans tobacco. (obscure old school reference, you newbies will have to do your research).
