How would you describe Rettke's kill to put the Badgers up 22-21? Carry? a directed shot.. refs should not call a shot like that unless is changes direction after contact.. basicaly allows a tap/push down but not a dunk She had a bunch of them vs Minnesota, Patti Rolf didn't have a problem with them and neither did the upref

Congrats, Badgers. Dear Huskers - I LOVE watching your team. Thanks for the gracious comment. Congrats to the Women of Cheese on a great win.

well deserved WI .. NE can still win the conference but they need to be better for the NCAAs to get back to the semis/finals

Man. It would have been depressing around here if the badgers had lost. I'm glad they won, if only because I don't have to lift everyone's spirits anymore.

Challenge outcome was a game-changer for that set. Nebraska would have been up 21-18. Yeah, that was an egregious overturn. Sometimes bad calls work in your favor and sometimes they don't. Huskers came out on the short end this time.

Unless the ref got some sort of different camera angel, idk about that call I have said the same thing about 4 times this year. Most of the time it has gone against the badgers. I'm not sure if they have a different angle. The first view they showed on TV showed Foecke's middle two fingers bend backward on her left hand. None of the other angles showed it

It is never ever called.

Well, thanks to the huskers for showing up in those last two sets. I think it still showed that the badgers have a bit of work to do on the block and Hilley maybe still needs to read the opposite block through the net a bit better.
I'm really not sure what happened in the first two sets. That is not the husker team I'm used to seeing.

The broadcasters emphasized that the officials have access to additional camera angles. We're not in a position to call it egregious. That really wasn't a situation where you need the perfect/secret angle when multiple other angles confirmes the call. Not the worst overturn I've seen, but overturns require "irrefutable" evidence.
